Robert Sharp is the manager of downstream market development and editor of Platts Refiner.
He started at Platts November 1980 and has covered all products and crude oil. He moved to Los Angeles in 1984 and opened a Platts office there. In 1993 he moved back to Houston where he created the Latin American Wire and Refiner.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
